The Monterey Bay Aquarium Series is a personal photo project that explores the beauty, complexity, and emotion of marine life in one of the most respected aquariums in the world. Using a Nikon D60, I documented sea creatures in carefully recreated natural habitats, emphasizing mood, light, and composition to evoke the serenity and awe of ocean life. This series is about more than just aquatic animals—it’s about observing life behind glass and creating a connection between human and habitat through color, motion, and shadow.
